The STERISYSTEM* DRY-BASE* instrument trays have been designed with careful attention to detail and the goal of optimizing sterilization processing while reducing the chance of perforations when wrapped. The STERISYSTEM* DRY-BASE* instrument trays are manufactured from AISI 304 L grade stainless steel and have an electrolytically polished finish.

PUNCH PATTERN - the 5/64 inch holes allow a permeability of over 50% which benefits the washing and sterilization processes as water or steam can readily penetrate during these processes leading to optimal results. The sides of the instrument trays are designed to protect the instruments from being damaged and the punch pattern can accommodate even the smallest of instruments.

BASE - The smooth dry base completely traps any condensation moisture that may stick to sterilization wrap. This ensures that condensation moisture can heat up or evaporate under the influence of radiation convection or conduction. The instrument trays have a smooth finished top wire which reduces the chance of perforating or tearing the sterilization wrap.

BAR CODE ZONE- Each instrument tray has a barcode zone where you can place your facility's label(s) on the side of the tray for identification and traceability purposes.

UNIVERSAL SIZES - Both the DIN and ISO configurations of the instrument trays come in universal sizes and fit perfectly into STERISYSTEM* PERFO-SAFE* Stainless Steel Wire Baskets for stack ability purposes.

TOP WIRE - The upper wire is made from plasma that has been welded on the sides of the tray. This results in a beautifully finished tray that is void of sharp edges and greatly reduces the risk of perforations or tears during unpacking. The upper wire also ensures that the top of the tray can't become contaminated by dirt.

QUALITY CONTROL - All trays are put through a special quality control tool which ensures that the mesh is uniform in size. The base is also meticulously checked. This is vital and allows for the smooth and dimensionally stable base that ensures that the instruments remain firmly in place. Trays that do not meet the dimensional or quality standards are rejected during quality control.
